Homeshare in separate annexe with own facilities (Sevenoaks, Kent)

This room is being advertised on behalf of a friendly lady in her 90s. She is seeking someone to share her home at a a low cost in exchange for some light help around the home.

In return for low cost accommodation of £170 pcm, she would like approximately 10 hours of support each week. Generally tasks would include, companionship (watching TV together on some nights and having discussions etc), shopping (items that have run out), the occasional light supper (toast, sandwiches, cheese and crackers etc) and sleeping overnight five nights per week (support is not required overnight, just presence in the home).

The home is bright and spacious. You will have use of the separate annexe which is furnished with a single bed, TV, beside table and lamp. There is a small kitchenette and en-suite with shower, toilet and sink. The annexe also had independent access .

There is a bus stop a few hundred yards away and a train station 15-20 mins walk away with frequent services to London. The main town of Sevenoaks is 3/4 mile away. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful.

The ideal sharer would be 21+ friendly, kind, compassionate, tidy and caring. Someone who does not work late long hours would be preferred in order to fit it in the homeshare duties comfortably.

The householder has carers who support during the day and a cleaner who attends weekly.

The Householder has a very supportive family who will also assist with certain tasks.
As part of our Homesharing scheme, you will need to have/or apply for a recent DBS check and provide two references who have known you for at least a year. To apply, please download and complete an application from our website. The minimum term is 6 months though a long term sharer would be preferred.

The only fees payable are our monthly fees of £170pcm (plus an additional deposit of £340. A DBS fee of £30 is required and will be requested if you are successful and moving in).
